About Point B Studio

Point.B Studio is an art gallery and Internet design studio located in the town of Port Orford, a picturesque fishing village and artist community on the southern Oregon coast. Celebrating its eighth year, the gallery highlights artists who incorporate some aspect of the Internet in their work, and explores where art, traditional design and new media intersect through onsite and online exhibits.

#αἰτία — Art in the Information Age

In 2009, Point.B launched the first of a three-part exhibit entitled "Art in the Information Age". The third show in the series is currently on display at Point.B through November. Learn more and watch the exhibit unfold at http://memory.org/AITIA/. Select scenes of the exhibit in progress are below.

The Memory Palace Project

Point.B Studio coordinates virtual exhibitions such as The Memory Palace Project. The site highlights the photography of Lois Miller, Roy Rousseau, and Rebecca Hargrave Malamud. In 2011, we welcome Scott Peden, a docent of the California State Parks.

The photographs are published online in eSPG v2.0 (Preview Release), an open source software program designed for presenting photography collections. The code is now part of the Rural Design Collective Project Pool, slated for future development in our summer mentoring program!
